WIND-FALL is the absolute best drift management, evaporation reducer and crop surfactant on the market. As we have expanded our application processes to include turf, ornamental and lawn care management, we have discovered remarkable benefits for golf course care and turf management properties. As we are a new player in turf grass management aids and golf course maintenance products, we are looking forward to any input from professionals in this area.
WIND-FALL customers use our product on golf courses, sod farms, crop lands and pasture land when spraying fertilizer, fungicides and pesticides in addition to glyphosates, and they are extremely satisfied with the efficacy they are observing. Our applicator customers have told us that WIND-FALL is the best non-ionic surfactant they have ever used and many sprayers compare it favorably to MSO.
WIND-FALL Improves efficacy of herbicides through the ultra and extra coarse nozzles by improving drift control, droplet spreading, and canopy deposition. Agronomists who are using WIND-FALL recognize the improved deposition and coverage and the correct droplet size for greater leaf coverage. An increased canopy depth gets your active ingredients deeper into plant canopy for better herbicide efficacy.
WIND-FALL will not damage bent grasses and is not a hazard to applicators or mixers. WIND-FALL will not leave a grunge ring in the tank, will not snot your nozzles and will not spaghetti your spray!
WIND-FALL lubricates valves, nozzles and equipment seals and provides immediate solubility with water based chemical products and maintains stability in products up to 1 year.
WIND-FALL has a 2-year guaranteed shelf life and we supply it in large quantities in U.V. protected totes for outdoor storage! Smaller quantities are also provided in U.V. protected packaging. WIND-FALL will freeze at 28 degrees but when thawed it maintains its original characteristics. WIND-FALL does not separate and will stay mixed indefinitely! We have observed that when WIND-FALL is incorporated into the mix, the mixture generally remains in suspension for extended periods and does not require re-agitation to re-blend the recipe. Exposure to sunlight, (U.V.) chlorinated water, sodium hypochlorite (liquid bleach) or other contaminates will degrade the product over a period of time.
Clean-up is simple with a garden hose and run-off of WIND-FALL will not harm the environment!
There are links on this website to see several testimonials, a copy of the MSDS for WIND-FALL and a copy of the 1993 ASTM Lab results where WIND-FALL was tested along with 11 other Drift/Evaporation reducer products. We can find no other major comparisons of these type of products that have ever been tested. You can see where WIND-FALL compared to these products, several of which are still on the market. When you look at these results, and factor in the toxicity and hazards associated with the other brands, you can see why we are so enthused with this product!
At a suggested mix-rate of 1 quart:100 gallons, WIND-FALL will become your go-to adjuvant and will replace several of your current application mix additives at a REMARKABLY reduced cost.
DRIFT CONTROL: Not only is drift control important in helping to reduce the damage that some turf management chemicals can do to adjacent living tissues, you want to put your expensive chemical and organic management products EXACTLY where you want them. Losing 10-30 percent of your spray mix to an adjacent field, residential/business/school property or right-of-way increases your costs and your effectiveness exponentially not to mention the liability and litigation issues. While most drift complaints and problems are a result of faulty equipment or poor application processes, WIND-FALL will reduce the amount of fine drift-able or atomized product that can travel up to 100 yards from the intended target area.
SURFACTANT: Surfactants as used in spray applications are generally compounds that lower the surface tension (or inter-facial tension) between a liquid and a solid, or a liquid and a living tissue. Sometimes called water-wetters or wetting agents, the main function is to help spread the desired chemical on the target plant area to help the chemical or organic material to soak in to the tissue or the ground to provide a longer lasting efficacy. WIND-FALL is superb at breaking the surface tension and encapsulating the target with the chemical mix and holding it there longer than other products that claim to do the same. WIND-FALL has proven to reduce evaporation by 30-40%.
MIXING: WIND-FALL is a high molecular weight compound and it requires a thorough mix with your solution to achieve maximum solubility. We recommend that you pour WIND-FALL into the mix while it is agitating or circulating to quickly achieve the desired results. A mix rate of 1 quart (0.946L): 100 Gallons U.S. (378.54L) of end use product is recommended.
CLEAN-UP
WIND-FALL is non-toxic, non-hazardous and environmentally safe. WIND-FALL has extremely high viscosity levels. Spillage in mobility and walk areas should be addressed immediately to avoid slips and falls. A .05% solution of liquid bleach makes clean-up simple, quick and easy. Wash-off of equipment with a garden hose is generally sufficient for thorough clean-up. WIND-FALL possesses a very low degree of oral toxicity and is relatively non-irritating to the skin. Potential for eye injury is slight.
INGREDIENTS: All Ingredients are exempt from tolerance requirements under 40CFR 180.910. WIND-FALL is a blend of Non-ionic surfactants = 100%
